Rail: There are two railway stations here. The main one is the Palakkad junction situated 5 km. from the city and other at the town. Palakkad is connected by good motorable roads connecting major centres of Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
Road:Buses to Guruvayoor, Thrissur, Malampuzha and other places are operated from Town bus stand. Thiruvalluvar Transport Corporation of the Government of Tamil Nadu is also operating several buses to various centres in Tamil Nadu from the K.S.R.T.C. bus stand |
